Writer's Block?
I guess I could babble (as I do), but will opt instead to say simply... I AM NOT EVEN CLOSE TO DONE!!!
(sigh) Life can be an obstacle course, and while I deal with some of mine, Otherwhere sits semi-stagnant. I feel so inferior in my abilities on my chosen instruments these days, and have opted to work on that before doing any "final" recordings. Plus, I am trying to find some other musicians to work with. As soon as I am back working, I will post it here!

Site reddesign underway
So much work.. Not just creating a new site in code, but coming up with a logo/wordmark, a site idea, and then creating custom graphics from scratch.. well, basically building an identity, all from a band name. Still a ton of work to do on it, but getting framework up has led to a big sigh of relief, and a decent smile of pride over accomplishing as much as I have. With a new band name (Otherwhere) came a bit of contemplation of just what I wanted it to "be." Initially I figured on the great beyond, possibly represented with graphics such as space, nebulae, etc. Once I got into things a bit deeper, I realized I wanted the idea to transcend "this life." The main background graphic (an archway with the band name emblazened in the stone, ala "runes," but not runes..lol) is incomplete, but the basic idea is there I think. Maybe I will have a different scene load behind the archway.. a different "otherwhere" to travel to.
A logo. Wordmark. Symbol. I have always loved that aspect of band identity.. from Queensryche to Led Zeppelin's fourth album.. Since I really like the, "The Other Side of Infinity" thing, I went with an "O," a "W," and an infinity symbol, all intertwined. Currently I have also incorporated the Greek letters Alpha, Omega, and Mu. Alpha and Omega up on the left and right (respectively), and Mu down beneath looking up.. the "Me" searching "the stars" for a sign of where it began, and where it ends. Eh, maybe that is a bit much..lol..

Otherwhere.. here!
Once in awhile things happen, and a choice must be made. For this band, it is choosing to rename the band or not. Obviously, we have chosen to rename. Although i9 was named several years before I Nine, they won the race to get material up for sale, MySpace, ReverbNation, and other areas.
Our new name (for now) is "Otherwhere." More about the name on the Bio page.
